Book online with Bliss Health and Healing Center beginning in December

Beginning in December, I will be partnering with Bliss Health and Healing Center (across from Target on Cedar Road in University Heights)  for a variety of workshops and a weekly Awareness Through Movement class will be held there.

To book online: Go to the register page of http://blisshhc.com and under group sessions, click Feldenkrais and you can find the class/workshop by date.  I find month view the easiest.

Why?

It makes everything easier- practicing the Feldenkrais philosophy in a very functional way!   Same location every time.  Pre-pay online.  Email reminders about classes.  Know if space is available.  Phone email support from staff.  Access to other healing modalities and therapies.  Free parking.  Tea/hangout lounge.  With Whole Foods and Target across the street, you can accomplish it all.

What?

Beginning this December there are 3 offerings:

Weekly Awareness Through Movement Class, Sundays 11am-12pm, In each class, you are guided through a series of gentle movement sequences that create immediate improvements in personal awareness, posture, balance and flexibility.  It is the process of engaging your attention in a novel way, rather than the movement itself, which creates these benefits.

Kick Up Your Heels, First Saturdays 1:30-3pm, redefines what comfort, ease and elegance when wearing and walking in high heels can be.  We will perform small explorative movements for big returns in balance, confidence and coordination. Your feet are a mirror of your health, treat them well!

Runners Advantage, First Sundays 12:30-2:30pm, is a unique direct application of the Feldenkrais Method of Movement Education and has proven to be powerful in enhancing performance of elite athletes and yet is still safe and gentle enough for injured runners. Run better and faster.

Pregnant Pauses, weekly on Tuesdays beginning January, 6:30-8:00pm, is a gentle movement program specifically designed to change the way you experience pregnancy. Utilizing your nervous system’s innate intelligence to alleviate pain and discomfort while increasing energy to ultimately provide an overall healthier pregnancy.
